4th International Symposium on Naturalistic Driving Research Call for Abstracts

The National Surface Transportation Safety Center for Excellence (NSTSCE) at Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI) is hosting the Fourth International Symposium on Naturalistic Driving Research at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center in Blacksburg, Virginia on August 25-28, 2014.

The two-day international symposium (preceded and followed by full-day workshops on Monday, 8/25 and Thursday, 8/28) will gather experts in the field of naturalistic driving research to discuss a wide range of topics.

The symposium will provide researchers and practitioners with an overview of international naturalistic driving studies (NDS) and insight into the next generation of NDS in addition to the opportunity to interact with panelists to discuss naturalistic driving in their respective countries. Workshop participants will receive hands-on experience with NDS data. Registration for the symposium is a prerequisite for attending the workshops.

Participants are invited to submit abstracts for presentations and posters. Students are also encouraged to submit abstracts for the special student session sponsored by SHRP 2.

Please refer to this document for additional information.

Inquiries regarding the submission process can be directed to NDRS_Papers@vtti.vt.edu.
