Dear STTG Members,

The STTG business meeting will take place at 5:30 PM on Wednesday October 29th during the 2014 Annual Meeting in Chicago. Based on feedback from members and students, as well as the success of last year’s offsite meeting, we’ve organized the following event.

The meeting will take place at Rock Bottom Brewery, down the street from the conference hotel and across the street from Grand Station. Map It

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and one drink will be provided during the cocktail hour at a cost of $10 cash
o    This is a $31 value made possible by support from the Toyota Collaborative Safety Research Center. We would greatly appreciate it if you could bring an exact bill
o    Please RSVP here:
Attendance is FREE for the first 20 students to RSVP!
A cash bar will remain open
We will hold an open mic for students to introduce themselves to the STTG
o    Using the RSVP form, students can sign up to give a ~30-s talk on who they are, where they study, and what their research interests are. This is a great way to accelerate visibility in the research community.
We will transition into dinner at 7:15 PM.
o    The cost of dinner is NOT included with the attendance fee
o    Guests are free to only attend the dinner (and not pay a cover charge), or only attend the business meeting and leave at 7:00 PM. Either way, we ask that you RSVP to indicate your preference.
Here’s the agenda for the evening:
