AutomotiveUI, the International ACM Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications, is the premier forum for UI research in the automotive domain. AutomotiveUI brings together researchers and practitioners interested in both the technical and the human aspects of vehicle user interfaces and applications.
 
The theme for AutomotiveUI 2020 is 'Innovations for All Road Users.' As with previous AutomotiveUI conferences, work that addresses topics such as vehicle user interfaces, driver performance and behavior, and vehicle technology and automated driving systems are welcome. An emphasis for 2020 is on research that examines the needs of different road user groups. For more information on subjects being considered, please visit the AutomotiveUI 2020 website.
 
AutomotiveUI 2020 invites you to submit original work in one or more of the following formats: full papers, works in progress, workshops, tutorials, videos, demos, and doctoral colloquium. Stephanie Binder Young Professional Award, 2022

Sponsored by: HFES-STTG (Human Factors & Ergonomics Society - Surface Transportation Technical Group) Stephanie Binder was 35 years old when she tragically passed away in 2011.  She was a human factors engineer at NHTSA and played a vital role in the Department's efforts to combat distracted driving. She was the primary author of NHTSA's overall driver distraction plan, and played a leading role in both of the USDOT's Distracted Driving Summits. To honor Stephanie's memory and her impact on the field, the   Surface Transportation Technical Group   (STTG) of the   Human Factors & Ergonomics Society   (HFES) confers an annual Young Professional Award to a young human factors professional who demonstrates outstanding contribution to transportation human factors.
